OUR BREAKFASTS are 100% plant based - that means we don't serve any meat, fish, dairy or eggs. We like to show how delicious plantbased food can be. We offer a buffet-style selection of cereals, fresh fruit, dairy-free yoghurt, and plant milks, freshly baked bread, and muffins/pastries. This is a substantial breakfast in itself! In addition you can also order any of the items from the menu below. All served with tea/coffee.
SCRAMBLED TOFU ON TOAST - a delicious savoury crumbly alternative to scrambled egg served with toast and cooked tomatoes.
SAUSAGE BAGEL - vegan sausage served in a bagel with sauce of your choice.
PANCAKE STACK - fluffy american style pancakes piled high and served with banana, blueberries and pecans, drizzled with maple syrup.
MANGO &COCONUT BREAKFAST SUNDAE - Layers of mango, coconut yoghurt and homemade granola served in a tall glass.
CHIA PUDDING - Lemon and coconut flavour made with chia seeds and oat milk served with mixed berries.

The Horseshoe Inn is a handy 5 minute walk away where they serve real ale and a selection of home cooked meals every evening. There is a patio area and children are welcome. There are always vegetarian options and they are happy to adapt dishes for vegans.
Salty Dog Cafe - Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead. Serving brunch, light lunches, and delicious homebaking, tea and coffee. Vegan options always available and vegan cake.
The Kilmartin Hotel is in Kilmartin village 4 miles north of here. They serve a selection of bar and restaurant meals. No vegan options at present. Pre-booking advisable.
Kilmartin Museum Cafe serve a selection of soups, main meals, tasty snacks and delicious homemade cakes. You can sit in the stone barn or conservatory with views over Kilmartin Glen. They always have vegetarian and vegan options.
Tayvallich cafe - always have vegan options. Beautiful location overlooking the harbour in the picturesque village of Tayvallich. Approx 10 miles from here, near to the Knapdale forest and crinan canal .
Cairnbaan Hotel - 5 minutes drive from here and situated by the crinan canal. Open to non-residents for lunches and evening meals and they are happy to offer vegan options. If you book in advance they will offer you your very own vegan 3 course menu.
The Tayvallich Inn - 20 minutes drive from here in the beautiful village of Tayvallich. Open every day for lunches and evening meals. They always have some vegan options on their main menu and specials board.
Stonefield Castle Hotel, Tarbert - located in a beautiful setting overlooking Loch Fyne, 22 minutes drive from here. Perfect if you want an extra special meal in a beautiful location. Open to non-residents for lunch and dinner, they are happy to cater for vegans if pre-booked. Tel:01880 820836
Loch View Grill, Dalavich - They always have vegan options on the menu. 35 minutes drive from here. Open Thursday- Sunday 6.30-9pm.
Wild Rowan Cafe, Dalavich - 35 minutes drive from here alongside Loch Awe, a shop and cafe which offers several vegan lunch options.
Smiddy Bistro - in Lochgilphead just off the main street. They serve coffee, tea, home made cakes and lunches. They usually have one or two vegan options on the menu and home made cakes.
Steamer Terminal, Ardrishaig - Located at the very beginning of the Crinan canal, offering tea/coffee, freshly baked cakes and light lunches. One vegan option on the menu and a vegan flapjack. Argyll's own mini Kelpies are located just outside.
